A 'MagSafe-compatible' label means nothing without numbers. The two that matter: pull force (we target ≥ 1.2 kg vertical) and shear force on bumpy roads. Both depend on the magnet array — we use 16-piece N52 rings, the same grade as Apple's original specification.
Wireless charging adds a constraint: the magnet ring must leave the 15W charging coil unobstructed, and heat must escape. Our charging mounts use an aluminum back shell as a heat sink, keeping coil temperature under 40°C in continuous use.
Every batch is tested: 10,000-cycle attach/detach, 72-hour salt spray on metal parts, drop tests on cobblestone-profile vibration tables. Ask your supplier for these reports — if they hesitate, that tells you something.
